Exploring the Innovative Hospital

At the 11th October 2018, the Life Science Open Space conference opened its doors in Krakow, Poland. As part of the event, the Transnational Forum of the BFCC project was held. Kazimierz Murzyn from the conference organiser Klaster LifeScience Kraków and Peter Frank from ScanBalt introduced the “innovative hospital”. It induced the discussion about questions like: In which areas of the hospital is it worth investing potential innovations? How to introduce innovations efficiently? How to create conditions, which are favorable for the creation of innovations, in hospitals? The focus of the Transnational Forum was on highlighting the clinical perspective of innovation to improve both the technical as well as the organisational issues. The session was led by the BFCC partner Krzysztof Mydel from University Hospital in Krakow.
